Sophia Yhlen: Hello ! :D
Lootmolch: Hey!
Lauritzen94: Hee
Lauritzen94: Hey*
myllylyly: Hello!
Dóri Halldórsson: anyone in the chat that played From Dust back when it came out?
Lauritzen94: Abit, I never really got into it
Dóri Halldórsson: Not a fan of God games?
Lauritzen94: Haha, Thats not something I really ever tought about
Lauritzen94: Its a long time since I played it, I think I remember, it being a bit complex
Lootmolch: Was this game the next big thing when it came out back then?
K3S1: Not really, i think it was a side project for Ubisoft.
Dóri Halldórsson: It was one of their smaller productions
Dóri Halldórsson: it is however, arguably, one of the better god games of recent years
K3S1: Indeed.
K3S1: Adventure games, to be precise.
Lootmolch: I got this game as part of a triple pack containing From Dust, Outland and Beyond Good & Evil HD. I've never given it a shot though...
over: jello
Dóri Halldórsson: if you ever played Populous, black & White or got dissapointed by Godus then you should check this out
Lauritzen94: Dori what difficulty do you play the witcher on?
over: uber mega easy, since i dont play it at all :D
Dóri Halldórsson: Playing it on blood and bones
Dóri Halldórsson: second hardest
Lauritzen94: Hmm, cool, I cant figure out whats optimal
Dóri Halldórsson: depends on what you want, I want a gameplay challenge along with the story and it certainly is challenging on blood and bones.
Dóri Halldórsson: If you don't have the correct oils, bombs and potions you will be killed by an enemy that is 2 lvls above you
Lauritzen94: Yeah, I want a challenge too, I just always end up having no health, now im stuck in a level with no more food items
Dóri Halldórsson: plenty of times i run into a group og enemies, look at their level and my inventory and then nope the fuck out of there because I know I'm dead meat
Dóri Halldórsson: yeah, the resource management can get rough
Lauritzen94: Alright, pro tips, shit I dont feel like restarting the mission though
Lauritzen94: well hopefully Ill make it eventually
Dóri Halldórsson: pro tips.. from the start pick up every single herb you see on the ground and spend a couple hours just looting chests (underwater chests give good loot)
Dóri Halldórsson: stock up on alcohol and craft as many potions and oils as you can. Nic eyou only have to do it once and then they restock through alcohol when you meditate
Lauritzen94: Alright awesome, well im pickin up stuff all the time, I just munch too much
Lauritzen94: Oh cool
Dóri Halldórsson: continually check the bestiary and make sure you're using the spells and items that the thing you're fighting is week too
Dóri Halldórsson: obv, parry humans but dodge roll monsters
over: new xbox slim a E3
Dóri Halldórsson: upgrade so you have higher tolerance to being poisoned by potions
over: you heard it here first
Lauritzen94: Shit seems complicated.
Dóri Halldórsson: that way you can gulp swallow, meditate to craft more and then you're good to go
Dóri Halldórsson: yeah. I love it :p
Lauritzen94: Yeah nice with a tough game, thats not bloodborne
Lootmolch: I guess the size of the Xbox One is its smallest problem. :P
Dóri Halldórsson: also, read this:

Lauritzen94: Oh nice thx
Dóri Halldórsson: you can also find it in your local language on the other sites
Lootmolch: Sophia, do you think that From Dust has stood the test of time?
Lauritzen94: Yeah cool many thx
Lootmolch: The more I see of this game, the more I think that this could be a game my mom might be interested in. Don't know if that's a good sign...
Lootmolch: ;D
Lootmolch: This is a game for breakfast! Yeah, I can image myself playing this while drinking a pot of coffee. :P
Lootmolch: finally some drama
Dóri Halldórsson: :D
Lootmolch: what game are you going to stream tomorrow?
Lootmolch: Thank you
Lootmolch: Sophia, do you think that From Dust deserves a sequel?
Lootmolch: or do you think that Ubisoft will ever release a sequel?
Lootmolch: I haven't played Project Spark yet. Is it similar to From Dust?
Lootmolch: Haha :D
Lootmolch: Thank you for answering my questions. See you tomorrow.
