"This is something that we put a lot of thought into, and the story part of the game, we really wanted to keep it personal, right," sa Butler. "Bioware stories are about really captivating characters, interesting situations, so when you're in your hub, like when you go back into your fort or your strider, this is your place to kind of recognise the consequences of the choices you've made and the characters you've met and the relationships you've built."
"But when you're out into the world in combat and you're fighting and you're exploring, that's when you're together as a team. So you still get those great moments in multiplayer and co-op, but then there's that emotional resonance of something that's impacted you because of something you've done."
