Gang War er et nytt RTS-spill som har både strategiske og action-elementer. På et bestemt punkt i spillet, kan du hoppe ned i byen å ta kontroll over et individ i en beryktet gjeng. Da forandres spillet fra å være strategisk til å bli ren action hvor du kan gjøre hva du vil, alt i fra å stjele biler, rane uskyldige personer på gata samt masse annet.
