Killzone 2 eller 3 som Sony også på et tidspunkt kalte den CG-demoen som firmaet presenterte på E3-messen, har lenge vært på tur - men nå ser det ut til å skje noe. Ifølge Sonys nestleder for markedsføring Petter Dille, så er spillet på gaten i Amerika allerede i år. Dette kan han fortelle i et intervju med det amerikanske spillmagasinet GameInformer.
Spillet er under utvikling til PlayStation 3 og bygger videre på historien fra eneren som i sin tid ble lansert til PlayStation 2.
