Bransjeanalytikeren Michael Pachter er kjent for sine spenstige utsagn, og i kjølvannet av Playstation 4 Pro-annonseringen tok Daily Star kontakt med ham for å høre hans meninger om Sonys nye kraftpakke. Ett av spørsmålene var om den nye konsollen vil kunne konvertere spillere som sverger til PC, men dette har ikke Pachter særlig tro på.
Tvert imot ser han ikke for seg at PC-entusiaster vil bytte plattform uansett hva som bli annonsert, og han går faktisk så langt som å sammenligne PC-spillere med rasister:
- I think PC Gamers are like racists; they only like their own kind and they have no interest in venturing out and mixing with other races. PC gamers are arrogant twits who are convinced what they do is better than what anybody else can possibly do," kommenterer Pachter.
I stedet har han tro på at PS4 Pro kanskje kan lokke til seg Xbox-spillere:
- However if you were an Xbox owner and you've always wondered what it's like to be a PlayStation owner, this is a great opportunity. And I think if you're not a [next-gen] console owner at all - which would include a subset of PC users - this is the one you would buy. This [PS4 Pro] is the obvious choice.
