Det finnes flere nettsider som enten hjelper forbrukeren med selv å piratkopiere Switch-spill, eller direkte tilbyr ROM-utgaver av de største spillene på plattformen. Disse har Nintendo dog tatt opp kampen mot i løpet av de siste par årene, og nå har de vunnet et avgjørende slag mot disse sidene i retten i England.
Det har nemlig blitt avgjort at Nintendo kan tvinge ISPer u England som Sky, BT, EE, Talktalk og Virgin Media til å blokkere adgangen til visse sider som tilbyr piratkopiert Switch-software. I en beskjed til Eurogamer sier en representant for Nintendo:
"Today, the UK High Court found the sale and distribution of 'circumvention' devices for the Nintendo Switch unlawful. Nintendo is pleased that the UK High Court has confirmed that dealing in devices or software that enable piracy on Nintendo Switch systems is unlawful. This decision will help protect the UK games industry and the more than 1800 developers worldwide that create games for the Nintendo Switch platform, and who rely on legitimate sales of games for their livelihood and to keep bringing quality content to gamers."
