Star Wars fans kan glede seg, hvis de har en stor PC stående eller har planer om å investere i en Xbox. Ut over Obi Wan er Knights of the Old Repuclic nemlig på vei - og det ser imponerende ut.
Spillet er under utvikling på både Pc og Xbox og det vil være på sistnevnte, hvor man i første omgang kan få lov til å spille det. Xbox versjonen forventes ferdig til høsten 2002, mens PC eiere må vente til en gang i 2003. Det er Bioware Corp som står bak spillet mens historien ivaretas av Lucas Arts - som forøvrig foregår 4.000 år før handlingen i de filmene vi kjenner.
Simon Jeffery (Lucas Arts) sier følgende i pressemeldingen:
"Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic will be available on two dynamic platforms, Xbox and PC, both of which are perfectly suited for the incredibly compelling and high action role playing experience this game will offer. As always, LucasArts' goal is to determine the best platform fit for each game. In this case, BioWare's tremendous expertise in the PC RPG genre makes that platform an ideal showcase for the game, while an Xbox version provides a great opportunity for LucasArts to establish the first major RPG franchise on that platform."
