Så var årets nomineringer til den gyldne joystick annonsert. Seremonien som holdes den 25 oktober i London’s Dorchester Hotel, vil inneholde mange kjente fjes og premier til de heldige vinnere. Vi har detaljene.
De nominerte er blant annet EA’s Medal of Honor, Take 2’s Grand Theft Auto 3 og Blizzard’s Warcraft 3. Til sammen er mer enn 60 dataspill og produkter nominert i 14 forskjellige kategorier.
Tara Leathers fra Dennis Publishing sier dette:
"Whatever the eventual result, everyone involved in all of the companies and products short-listed today should be proud of their achievement and should remember that their nomination has come direct from the most important source - their customers."
Og hun fortsatte:
"We will be actively encouraging all of the nominees to encourage their customers to register their votes between now and the final closing date and will supply any materials we can that will help with this process.
