Rockstars nye spill Manhunt er nettopp blitt omtalt som usmakelig i New Zealand, og er derfor blutt trukket tilbake fra markedet.
Det er Office of Film and Literature, som har forlangt at spillet trekkes tilbake fra markedet, bl.a. fordi det glorifiserer drap og forskjellige drapsmetoder, hvilket jo er ganske usmakelig. Bill Hastings hos Office of Film and Literature sa følgende:
"It's a game where the only thing you do is kill everybody you see. It gets worse. Not only do you have to kill everybody you see, you can choose to kill 'mild,' 'medium' or 'hot'. When you go for the 'hot' kill you actually see the snuff film... you see the person being killed in close-up. With the plastic bag, for example, you see the victim's mouth gasping for air inside the bag. In fact, you're rewarded for making the kills as gruesome as possible because that's the only way you can unlock the (game's) four bonus levels."
Spillet er nå trukket tilbake fra markedet i New Zealand, og kan derfor hverken leies i videobutikker eller kjøpes i vanlige spill- og elektronikkbutikker.
