Criterion er som kjent i gang med utviklingen av Burnout 3 og i dag har vi fått fingrene i de første skjermisene fra spillet.
Redaksjonen har tilbragt menge artige timer i selskap av de forrige titlene i serien og det tredje kapittelet ser ikke ut til å mangle de godsakene som trengs for å levere enda en suksess. I tillegg til de gamle og velkjente modusene, vil treeren også kunne by på en ny "Crash and Burn-modus". Akkurat hva denne modusen innebærer er ennå ikke avslørt, men vi regner med at det er noe i samme gate som den geniale Crash modusen fra forrige spill, men med noe ekstra. Burnout 3 takes the series even further, now featuring a unique 'crash and burn' racing concept and a one-of-a-kind special effects engine that delivers spectacular visuals. The intensity heats up as players race, and often crash, their way through oncoming traffic in an attempt to claim the top spot. Boasting multiple single-player, multiplayer and online* crash and race modes, Burnout 3 offers players the opportunity to race through busy city streets and be rewarded for taking risks that result in heart-pounding action and electrifying crashes.
