COUNTER-STRIKE: CONDITION ZERO SHIPS TO STORES
Follow-Up to the Number One-Online Action Game
Available Worldwide March 26

PARIS, FRANCE (February 25, 2004)- Vivendi Universal Games announced today that Counter-Strike™: Condition Zero™, the follow-up to the number-one on-line action game in the world, Counter-Strike will hit the streets worldwide March 26th, 2004.

Co-developed by Valve and Turtle Rock Studios, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero introduces a brand-new single-player experience to the Counter-Strike series, along with special enhancements for on-line play.

Powered by the Half-Life® engine, gamers will move through new and challenging single-player scenarios ranging from harsh jungle environments, artic terrains, deserts, and international city streets. In addition, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero offers a brand-new Career Mode that will take the player through progressively difficult matches alongside, and against, the Official Counter-Strike Bot. In this mode, the player will begin with limited access to A.I. teammates, items and weapons, but will earn increasingly sophisticated resources as he progresses up the ladder.

Counter-Strike: Condition Zero will be available March 26th, 2004 for the PC with a suggested retail price of €34.99 and a PEGI "16+" rating.
