2K Games og FIRAXIS Games announserte nylig et samarbeid hvor 2K Games får retten til å distribuere Sid Meier's Pirates!. Pirates! for Xbox-en vil som sagt bli lansert av 2K Games 20 mai. Med på avtalen er også et utvidet samarbeide mellom 2K Games og FIRAXIS Games når det gjelder distribueringen av den allerede lanserte PC-versjonen av Sid Meier's Pirates!
