Selv om Sony ikke selv offisielt har sagt noe om at Heavenly Sword er eksklusivt til PlayStation 3, så kan man ut fra den fortellingen som Tameem Antoniades skriver til hver måneds Edge-magasin, lese at spillet er eksklusivt til et format og da det nylig ble vist frem på PS3, så må det altså være til format det snakkes om.
Messens mange besøkende snakker allerede vidt og bredt om Heavenly Sword som sammen med Killzone 2 forventes å bli et av de helt store trekkplastre til PS3.
