For alle de som bare elsker Shrek, er det noe å hente i Activisions siste annonsering. Firmaet er nemlig godt i gang med en toer. Og det er in-house utvikleren Luxoflux som står bak prosjektet.

Santa Monica, CA - May 13, 2003 -E3 Expo attendees will embark on a wild new adventure with ShrekÒ and his buddies when Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) and TDK Mediactive, Inc. (OTC BB: TDKM) unveil Shrek 2Ô: The Game (working title) at Activision’s booth #1224 in the South Hall on May 14 - 16.

Inspired by the upcoming film and expanding its storyline, Shrek 2: The Game (working title) features Shrek’s signature humor and comedic interactions. Players experience key moments from the film and encounter a variety of new characters, environments and sub-plots as they switch between Shrek, Donkey or one of their six friends. The game is being co-published worldwide by Activision, Inc. and TDK Mediactive, Inc. and is currently in development by Activision’s wholly owned subsidiary Luxoflux for the PlayStationÒ2 computer entertainment system and the XboxÒ video game system from Microsoft. Shrek 2: The Game (working title) has not yet been rated by the ESRB.

"We look forward to working with TDK to develop and publish games based on a rich property like Shrek, which has a strong appeal to children and adults alike."
