Total War: Arena har hatt åpne beta-tester dette året, men disse har tydeligvis ikke gått helt etter planen eller gitt ønsket resultat, for Creative Assembly har nettopp kunngjort at spillet legges på is den 22. februar.

"Unfortunately, during the open beta, the game didn't meet the expectations either Wargaming or Creative Assembly had for the title, and it was decided to bring development to an end," står det på nettsiden til Creative Assembly.
