Du som spilte Watch Dogs for to år siden husker sikkert at det hadde minispill basert på AR. I såkalt augmented reality skulle vi skyte romvesener med laserpistol, eller kontrollere forvokste robotedderkopper. Disse minispillene vil ikke dukke opp i Watch Dogs 2. Dette bekrefter Ubisofts spillregissør Danny Belanger i en samtale med Gamingbolt. Han sier følgende:
"AR games from Watch Dogs are not returning. We are offering more city exploration. So as you're walking around the city, you'll open Nethack, and you'll discover operations and secrets that will unlock side quests if you want."
Watch Dogs 2 skal slippes til PC, Playstation 4 og Xbox One 15. november.
