Selvom Ico ikke ble en regulær salgshit, så har spillet høstet mange velfortjente priser og satte sine evige spor hos en del spillere. Derfor er det heller ingen tvil om at den sjelelige oppfølgeren Shadow of the Colossus er ventet med sjelvende hender - spesielt hos flere av redaksjonens spillglade hoder.
