Det å vinne The Game Awards og lignende kåringer av årets beste spill selvsagt er meget hyggelige og prestisjefylt for spillutviklere og utgivere mener mange at DICE-kåringene er enda bedre siden disse stemmes frem av spillskaperne selv. Derfor er det artig å se at vi allerede ser ulikhetene i nominasjonene.
Nå har The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences offentliggjort de 59 spillene som er nominert til de 23 kategoriene i neste måned sin DICE-kåring, og der er det faktisk Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart som nevnes flest ganger til tross for å ikke ha vunnet noe på The Game Awards. Her er hele listen:
