Independent Developers @ Xbox (eller ID@Xbox) er en relativt ny satning, og under den nylig avsluttede Nordic Game Conference 2016 sørget Gamereactors TV-team for å huke tak i Microsofts Chris Charla som har ansvaret for dette. Han kunne blant annet fortelle at indieutviklerne har forandret spillindustrien, og det til det bedre.
"I really think that independent developers have fundamentally changed the games industry. They've fundamentally changed the games we see, the kind of games we play; it used to be the game industry and separately there were sort of indies, but now there's just Video Games and it's really awesome to see."
