På E3 2018 fikk vi muligheten til å snakke litt med grunnleggerne av Two Point Studios, Mark Webley og Gary Carr, om Two Point Hospital, og siden det er en åndelig oppfølger til Theme Hospital, spurte vi hva de prioriterte når de lager et nytt spill basert på et gammelt konsept.

"I think certainly the accessibility of the game," sa Webley. "I think a lot of people have played Theme Hospital, but I think there was a point where, if you couldn't get beyond it, it was a brick wall, so we wanted to make sure that you could get through the game, but if you wanted to really get through the game and max it out, there's a real challenge there as well."

"And of course it's social play as well. Not that this is a multiplayer game - it's a single-player game - but the idea that we're all connected now, the idea that if I took on the challenge of curing 50 patients in as quick a time as I can, I can go 'Oh, can you beat me?' and for me to throw that challenge over to you and you to feel like you're competing in real time over the six months, and so that was quite an interesting and challenging task to get right, but it's turned out really fun actually."
