The International heads to Seattle this year

In October.
Ben Lyons Senior Editor 9 mai 2023

Valve has revealed the host city and the dates on which Dota 2's The International tournament will be held when it takes place again this year. The major event, which often features the largest prize pool in all of esports, will be returning this October, and as for the host city, this will be Seattle.

As noted by Valve, the tournament will take place in the Climate Pledge Arena, and will look to welcome the largest audience in its history. To add to this, we're told that the group stages for the event will start on October 14, with playoffs to follow. The actual The International will take place between October 27 and 29, and as has been the case before, there will be a The Road to the International again this year, but Valve won't be sharing any information about that for a few weeks.

In terms of the prize pool for this year's tournament, that has not been detailed as of yet.
