Tidligere Mass Effect & KOTOR-regissør, og nåværende Bioware GM, Casey Hudson har kunngjort via Bioware sin blogg at Anthem nå er i alpha-stadiet.
Casey skriver også at han føler at Anthem kan ha noe av den samme nedslagskraften Baldur's Gate hadde i sin tid, han har nemlig "the exact same feeling" nå som de nærmer seg siste del av utviklingen.
Alpha-milepælen ble passert i forrige uke, "meaning that every part of the game is in, and functioning. It's a ton of fun to play, and full of engaging character moments and storylines. But it's also exciting to see people around the office (and at our partner studios) grouping together for adventures in this new world we've created".
Det virker som gjengen i Canada er i full sving, og at spillet kommer til å bli gitt ut til den fastsatte lanseringsdatoen, 22. februar.
