Hangzhou Spark signs SeoMinSoo

The Spark adds a decorated veteran to its dual-nationality team.

The Hangzhou Spark Overwatch League team has signed Minsoo "SeoMinSoo" Seo to its active Overwatch League roster for at least the duration of the 2021 season. SeoMinSoo has previously played under the Vancouver Titans banner since the start of the 2019 season, when the franchise joined the league, up until early 2020 when the team faced logistical issues, causing a roster collapse.

During his time with the Titans, SeoMinSoo proved to be a capable DPS star on a stacked line-up of talented individuals. Since he has been a free agent since the roster collapse in May, SeoMinSoo will be coming to the Spark in the hopes of reflecting the success he achieved on the Vancouver team, where he achieved a second place result in the 2019 Grand Finals.

The Spark's roster now consists of a variety of Chinese and South Korean players that should in theory challenge the likes of the Asian region. How SeoMinSoo will slot into the line-up is yet to be determined, however he has always been regarded for his Zarya talents, so look for that to be his duty potentially.

Do you think SeoMinSoo is a smart addition to the Hangzhou Spark?
