His contract now runs out at the end of 2023.

Around a month ago, we reported on the official announcement of the G2 Esports 2022 League of Legends European Championship team. Now, we can also add that the organisation has made the decision to extend the contract of one of its star players, Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski, for a further two years.

Revealed over Twitter, G2 made the announcement with the simple caption of "THE FIRST BLOOD KING IS HERE TO STAY". This renewal, while still pending the approval of Riot Games, will see Jankos tied to G2 until November 2023, meaning assuming there are no reasons to terminate the contract, Jankos will be playing for G2 over the next two competitive LoL seasons.
