One of the most standout players of the last two years in competitive League of Legends is easily Fnatic's mid-laner Fabian "Febiven" Diepstraten, who has since grown to become the face of Fnatic after the former mid, xPeke, parted ways with the team. Now it looks like Febiven is doing the same, but instead of forming a new team he's heading back to his old one.
The reasons for Febiven's departure are as of yet unknown, but Fnatic's last split was probably the worst in the history of the team, with a lineup that, on paper, should've done much better. After the Worlds 2016, Fnatic's lacklustre performance combined with H2K's strong one seems to have made Febiven, always striving for success, jump ship from Fnatic - probably a smart move.
Febiven's time on Fnatic lasted a strong two years, and during this time his team saw the most dominant performance in the history of the LCS - an undefeated 18-0 summer split in 2015 - which alone should cement Febiven in the annals of Fnatic history.
