Sony only announced the existence of its Inzone brand a couple of days ago, and yet despite that being the case, the brand has already found itself as the partner for a couple of different esports leagues and scenes. It's known as the headset partner for the Valorant Champions Tour, and now Inzone has also been named as the premier partner for the Sony-owned fighting tournament event, Evo.

As announced in a press release, we're told that the deal will see Inzone as the premier partner for not just the 2022 event but for the 2023 event as well. Similarly, the partnership will see Inzone known as the official monitor and headset of Evo.

"To make this announcement as part of the global launch of INZONE is another example of the momentum that is building for Evo 2022. We're delighted to debut new technology for our attendees to experience fighting games with," said Rick Thiher, general manager of Evo. "Partners like INZONE from Sony support our mission of crafting great experiences for our players and fans."

Financial details for the partnership were not announced.
