T1 has already qualified for the 2022 League of Legends World Championship, which is what makes this decision all the more unusual considering the close nature of that premier tournament.
As stated in a blog post, we're told that T1 will be making some management changes, in the form of promoting head coach Choi "Polt" Seong-hun to general manager and then shifting Bae "Bengi" Seong-woong into the role of interim head coach in his place.
As part of the changes, T1 has also added that Kim "Sky" Ha-neul will be coming on as a coach for the organisation, to further help the team achieve its end goal of becoming world champions.
