The 2021-22 Rocket League Championship Series season has come to a close, as following a couple of weeks of competition, the World Championship has wrapped up, meaning we now know who has been crowned as the victor for this year.

This time it was Europe's Team BDS who was crowned as the victor, following the team being the roster to beat during the tournament. The team went undefeated through the group stage, where it knocked out Renegades and defeated Version1, before heading into the playoffs bracket where it also eliminated Karmine Corp and FURIA, before finding itself in the finals against the also dominant G2 Esports.

Here, Team BDS once again proved its dominance as it defeated G2 Esports 4-1 to claim the title of champion and to head home with a $600,000 prize pool, to be split amongst the team.

Now that this match is over, all eyes are on the next season of the RLCS, which Psyonix has yet to make any announcements about.
