X7 Esports has announced yet another acquisition in the esports space. This time it comes in the form of London Esports, who are now part of the X7 family, with London Esports' founder and CEO, Alfie Wright now taking the role of X7's COO.
We're told in a press release that this acquisition comes as both parties have similar ideas for growing in the esports space. Wright has even shared a statement on the matter.
"X7 has already proven its potential as an esports team in its previous 12 months of operations, this is the perfect time for me to come on board, working alongside Josh and the team to help steady the ship as we look to cement our spot at the highest competitions in multiple titles."
While financial details for the acquisition were not disclosed, we are told that X7 Esports will also be taking ownership of London Esports' office space in Queen Elizabeth Park in East London.
This acquisition comes as the third acquisition made by X7 Esports in the last nine months, with the company also recently adding Bulldog Esports and Absolved (two other esports organisations) to its family.
